Portrait of Jovany Cardenas Vargas

Software developer, technical problem-solver, and lifelong learner.

I began programming through a high school web design course and continued developing my skills at Allan Hancock College, where I completed degrees in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, and Liberal Arts: Mathematics and Science.

My experience includes developing web applications, supporting cybersecurity and IT operations, performing website quality assurance, assisting students through campus programs, and leading technical and service-oriented projects.

In Fall 2026, I will transfer to San José State University to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering. I am especially interested in software development, web technologies, cybersecurity, systems, and building tools that solve practical problems.
